In the spring of 2022, I collected donated homework (and stories) from students who almost failed--but ultimately passed--a challenging class. The process of recontextualizing paper that represented a defeated challenge was cathartic, leading to the colorful collage and my research being featured on the cover of and within Explorations, the Texas A&M University Undergraduate research journal.
