“These Walls” explores elements of the Summer 2020 experience, long distance relationships, and the struggle to stay connected.
Every element of the short film was created by Texas A&M students, following COVID-19 guidelines and working virtually whenever possible. The music track was created with zero in-person contact, rehearsals were held on the REC volleyball courts, and filming was completed in the LAAH Black Box in two hour increments under strict guidelines; masks, extra cleaning measures… and the use of a plastic shower curtain to keep the two dancers from ever making physical contact. Initial rehearsal and filming were completed in exactly one week, with one reshoot later that month.

This short film was an official selection for the Aggie Cinema Project Film Festival in 2021.
